I took my SIC Faiz (Classic 2007 ver.) out from the bunch of toys that I not yet played. I was shocked & disbelief when I opened the box..... Faiz took revenge on me for neglecting him so long by self destruct on his own left leg !!

今天从一堆还没玩过的玩具中抽出 SIC Faiz（Classic 2007 版本）来玩，一开盒就让我不能置信和震惊的情景。。。。。 它报复我冷落了它那么久而自断左脚！！！



It's well known that SIC Faiz is easily to have broken arm & leg joints & I don't believe it has happened on my Faiz. After I dumb strucked for few mins, I started to clean up the mess. While I'm cleaning up I found another shocked truth - Bandai used metal instead of diecast as the joints. Why I knew it's metal? It's because the joint is rusted !!!

民间盛传 SIC Faiz 很容易断手脚，不能相信这样的事情也会发生在我身上。我呆呆地看着它几分钟后，就开始收拾残局。正当我收拾的时候，又发现另外一个令我震惊的东西，Bandai 竟然用了铁棒来做关节，而不是合金。为什么我知道是铁而不是合金？因为那个铁棒生锈了！！！



Rusty metal will expand due to the rust. The tight plastic (ABS?) joints can't hold the expanded pressure from the rust and then break. Another leg also having some cracks on the joint so sooner or later the joints will break too.

I advise anyone whom wants to buy SIC Faiz now should open the box & check before pay. Those who already bought it should put it in a dry place to prevent corrodes.

Bandai, return my SIC Faiz back !!!

生锈了的铁会因为氧化物（锈）而“膨胀”。那些多出来的锈，就让本来很紧的塑胶（ABS?），因承受不了膨胀压力而断开。另外一只脚关节也开始有裂痕，看来断是迟早的了。

我劝那些要买 SIC Faiz 的大大要当场开盒检查，买了的大大就应该把它放在干燥地方防止生锈。

Small, but expensive haul from my wife 老婆小但贵的收获

Saw these Disney's Tomica having 50% discount at Isetan KLCC last Sunday. My wife immediately bought all available units since she already interested to buy them in the past.

Each of them is just 5-6cm long & mostly made by diecast. Although it's small, it's not cheap at all !! Each of them selling RM 23.90 for the single pack & RM 39.90 for the double pack before discount. So if without discount these lots can cost us RM 200 =_=


上个星期日在 KLCC Isetan 看到这些 Disney's Tomica 有 50% 折扣。老婆立刻把剩下的全部款都买下来，毕竟很旧以前她就想买了。

每辆车大约 5-6cm 长，大部分都是合金制。虽然小，却不便宜！！折扣前单辆的要 RM 23.90，双车包装要 RM 39.90。所以如果没有折扣，照片看到的这几辆就要 RM 200 了 =_=

My early birthday present..... 我的提前生日礼物。。。。。

Bought this Netbook last Saturday at Sony Style as my early birthday present :P I wanted to get the dark blue color to match with my NDS Lite but too bad it's out of stock.

I can actually get a better spec laptop with the price of this Netbook. The reason I chose Netbook is because it's light (~1.2kg). I couldn't afford the price of those light-weighted laptop :P I'm going to take it around with my D90 in the future so my stamina will exhausted very fast if I buy a normal laptop (~2kg).

After used it for a week & I can conclude that.....
Netbook + Windows 7 Starter = Crap!
My Netbook comes with 2gb of RAM and I still can feel the lag while I surf the net & playing flash games, or the browser will crashed due to lack of memory. I used Netbook with WinXP before and it doesn't has the browser crashed problem. Just FB + Farmville it already consumed 1.1gb of memory, so I wonder how other Netbook can survive with 1gb of RAM installed.

So my advice to those who's thinking to get a Netbook - Wait till Netbook with better specs or search for a Netbook which still runs on WinXP !!


上个星期六提前在 Sony Style 替自己买了这个 Netbook 当自己的生日礼物 :P 本来是想买深蓝色的来配我的 NDS Lite，但可惜已经没货

其实我可以用同等的价钱买一个规格更好的 laptop。我选择 Netbook 的原因是因为它轻 (~1.2kg)，我也买不起那些轻量的 laptop :P 我会带着它和我的 D90 到处走，我不想体力很快消耗掉，所以选择了它而不是普通 laptop (~2kg)。

用了它一个星期后，我只能说。。。。。
Netbook + Windows 7 Start = 烂组合！
我的 Netbook 已经拥有 2gb 的 RAM，但是每次当我玩 flash 游戏和游览网页的时候，Netbook 就会变得很慢，或者 browser 因为不够 memory 而自动关掉。我用过走 WinXP Home 的 Netbook，就算是 1gb RAM 也不会有 browser 自动关的问题。我只是开一个 FB 和玩 Farmville 都已经吃了 1.1gb 的 RAM，我在想那些 1gb RAM 走 Win7 Starter 的 Netbook 要怎么用

因此我劝那些正在考虑买 Netbook 的朋友，最好就是等比较好规格的 Netbook，或者买那些走 WinXP 的 Netbook

Toy haul after a long time 久违了的玩具购买

Few days ago I saw XL bring in a series of Ghibli Studio's toys. All the while me and my wife are very interested on Totoro's toy. But, after I saw the pictures of these Totoro toys, I've decided to give up.

Last night a friend of mine went to buy 1 set of the Totoro. He strongly recommend me to buy this set. So I went to XL to check the actual thing after work just now.

After saw the real thing, I've been poisoned. At the end I bought these Totoros & the black cat Jiji from Kiki's Express Delivery. I've broke my record of didn't buy toys for more than 6 months +_+

There's still a Totoro I didn't buy, which is the Neko Bus. I've to give up this one because not enough budget


前几天看到 XL 进了一批 Ghibli 动画的玩具。一路来我和我老婆都对龙猫的玩具有兴趣，但我在网上找到这系列龙猫玩具的图后就打消了购买念头。

昨晚一个朋友去买了一套，大力推荐我去买,因此刚才放工后就去 BTS 的 XL 店看看实物。

看了之后就中毒了，结果买了这些龙猫和《魔女宅急便》里的黑猫吉吉,破了我超过半年没买玩具的纪录 +_+

整套还有龙猫巴士,但因为预算不够的关系而被逼放弃.

Finally, I bought this..... 终于，我买了它。。。

After did lots of research, I finally decide to buy this at Low Yat yesterday.....
经过长期的资料搜寻，昨天我终于下定决心把它买下了。。。。。











I've to say sorry to those who thought this is an iPhone 3Gs :P. It's actually iPod Touch 32gb, which is an iPhone without phone.

Besides the calling ability, it lack of GPS & camera too. Its price is less than half of the iPhone --- iPhone 3Gs 32gb RM 2990 without plan, iPod Touch 32gb RM 1,199 !!

Since my phone still working & I only need a PDA to do some note recording, so I've chose iPod Touch instead of the expensive iPhone 3Gs :P


我要对那些以为这是 iPhone 3Gs 的朋友说声抱歉 :P 其实这个只是 iPod Touch，也就是没电话功能的 iPhone

除了缺乏了电话通讯功能，它也少了 GPS 和拍摄功能。功能少了，价钱当然也比较便宜，iPod Touch 比 iPhone 便宜超过一半 － iPhone 3Gs 32gb RM 2,990（没拿任何配套斋机价），iPod Touch 32gb RM 1,199

我的电话还可以用，而且我也只是需要一个 PDA 来记录东西，所以我选了价钱便宜的 iPod Touch，而不是昂贵的 iPhone 3Gs :P

Nendoroids Suzumiya Haruhi

This is my wife's 1st Nendoroid. She got addicted with Haruhi by that time and saw this Nendoroid ver. of Haruhi will be release.

The main attraction of Nendoroid is its cuteness - big head + short limps. My wife bought it also because it look cute. Although Nendoroid lack of articulation, GSC gives few face expression for us to play. The painting and QC is very good. You don't really need to go and check for the quality when purchasing it.

Nendoroid Haruhi is a quite early stage released Nendoroid. Like other toys the design is not fully matured and has some flaws. The biggest flaw is it cannot stand by it own. It need to use the display stand provided to stand. The stand use a u-shape holder to hold the figure. There is no instruction leaflet inside the box to teach us how to use the stand. I tried to clip the stand on Haruhi's waist but it's not stable at all. Haruhi will either break into half or fall down. Luckily GSC did improve the Nendoroids stand in future releases.

Unfortunately, Nendoroid has bootleg selling in the market. So becareful when you're going to buy a Nendoroid via online or retail shops. Here's a link from GSC to teach us how to differentiate bootleg & original Nendoroids (Jap. language) - How to differentiate a bootleg Nendoroid


这是我老婆迷上凉宫动画而买的第一个 Nendoroid 玩具。Nendoroid 迷人的地方就是它的可爱 － 大头 + 短手脚。老婆就是因为它的可爱之处而买下它。

虽然 Nendoroid 缺乏了可动性，但 GSC 很大方地给了几个脸来让我们交换表情。Nendoroid 凉宫的品质很好，不需要做什么检查就可以买下它，这也是 GSC 玩具的最大优点。

Nendoroid 凉宫是早期发售的 Nendoroid，整个玩具的设计还不成熟，因此也存在很多缺点。最大的缺点就是如果不用附送的脚架，它根本就站不稳。

脚架的设计也有问题存在，它设计成一个 U 形状的钩。盒子里面也没有说明书，根本就不知道要怎么去用脚架。我尝试夹在凉宫的腰，但一点也夹不稳，不然就是凉宫腰部被＂一分为二＂。还好接下来的 Nendoroid 脚架已经改善很多

就如很多玩具一样，市面上也有很多盗版 Nendoroid，所以买的时候要小心，尤其是网上购买。GSC 官方网站提供了一些辨别正版和盗版的方法 － 怎样辨别 Nendoroid 的正与伪

Nendoroid Nagato Yuki

My wife was not at home last Sunday. I took this opportunity to take out her Nendoroid Nagato Yuki and shoot some pictures of it :P
上个星期天我老婆不在家，我就趁机偷偷地拿她的 Nendoroid 长门出来拍些照 :P

Not much of accessories..... According to the box art the extra face should be a smiling face, but I can't see anything different compare to the frown expression face. I suspect the factory pack the wrong extra face in this box =_=
配件不多。。。。。根据盒子上的图片，另外一个脸应该是微笑的表情，但是我看不出这盒的两个脸有什么差别。我怀疑工厂工人放错脸进盒子了 =_=
